The Unseen Speedrun Competition

All runs must be submitted to speedrun.com in the appropriate category: https://www.speedrun.com/Secret_World_Legends/levels

RULES

You can submit any number of runs that you like, just be aware that you can only win a prize one time.
So for example you could submit runs to 3 different missions to improve your odds of winning, but if you are the fastest in 2 of them you still only win one prize.

*** PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE NOT EXPECTED TO GET THE ACHIEVEMENT BECAUSE IT CAN ONLY BE OBTAINED ONCE ***

All Unseen missions on speedrun.com have a “Show Rules” button which shows the Game Rules and then a “Category rules” section which has additional specific rules for that category, as well as the speedrun mod settings for that mission.

Here are the rules from speedrun.com as pertaining to the Unseen missions:

  • while the game is an mmo and you cannot stop other players from potentially impacting your run, colluding with other players OR other characters of your own to speed up your run is not allowed (this includes but is not limited to trading items, having someone clear out enemies, etc)
  • any potential exploit that would get you banned from the servers is not allowed
  • “Exploits” or strategies not foreseen by Funcom are sanctioned within bounds. Ambiguities regarding a strategy’s validity fall under the purview of the moderator(s).
  • Mods like BooBuilds or EffectsUI, and other mods that do not directly affect gameplay or mission completion are allowed for the Unseen Category. Using allowed mods to affect gameplay/mission completion is prohibited.

the only mod required is: SpeedrunTimer

  • Max sprint speed allowed is 4 (please show sprint speed during the run)
  • The only mount sprint allowed is the Franken Chopper (no boost)
  • No killing enemies, impairs/stuns/knockdowns are allowed

PRIZES

Everyone who submits a run will receive an Alienware t-shirt, white with black logo in game tshirt provided by Funcom.

 

There are 18 Unseen Speedrun Category Missions.

The fastest time for EACH mission will receive a full set of in game GM tshirts provided by Funcom.

If you have the fastest time for more than one mission you still only receive the one prize.
